Hospitals and Institutions

"The purpose of the Hospitals and Institutions subcommittee is to introduce people to the Narcotics Anonymous program and what it has to offer them. The primary focus is that "an addict, any addict, can stop using drugs and lose the desire to use."

The H & I subcommittee carries the NA message of recovery to addicts who do not have full access to regular NA meetings. Meetings and/or presentations are provided to hospitals, jails, addiction treatment facilities, detox centers and other various institutions.

"How to get involved in with H & I - Attend the H&I Orientation which begins at 11:00am the first Sunday of each month at 1212 Mariposa. From there you will be connected with a volunteer coordinator who will help you get placed with the facility or facilities which is/are right for you.

We are looking for volunteers to speak occasionally or to commit to a once a month attendance at any of these facilities. We can also use trusted servants to be involved with the administrative aspects of the subcommittee meeting. H&I subcommittee meets at 12pm the first Sunday of every month at 1212 Mariposa.
